Tatiana Medina Rodriguez
Deputy Vice President of Law School Division
Tatiana is a Senior Appellate Court Attorney at the Appellate Division, First Judicial Department. In her role, Tatiana analyzes and makes recommendations on appeals and motions before the First Department in all areas of law, including commercial litigation, personal injury, and family law. Prior to joining the First Department, she was a court attorney at the Appellate Division, Third Judicial Department in Albany, NY and a judicial extern for the Honorable Sheila Abdus-Salaam, NYS Court of Appeals.
She earned her J.D. magna cum laude from Touro Law School and her B.A. cum laude from Siena College. During law school, Tatiana served as a research editor of the Touro Law Review. She also competed in the International Commercial Mediation Competition in France, was an Honors Program Scholar, and received two CALI Excellence for the Future Awards.
Aside from her volunteer work with the Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program, Tatiana is active in the New York State Bar Association where she currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Corporate Counsel Section and Chair of the Section's Diversity Internship Committee.
