Hannah Colter (she/her)
Deputy Vice President of College Division

Hannah Colter is an associate at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen, & Hamilton, LLP, where she focuses on investigations, enforcement, civil litigation, and pro bono matters.

She graduated from the University of Colorado in 2019 with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a certificate in Global Business. Hannah graduated from New York University School of Law in 2022.

While in law school, Hannah was an International Law and Human Rights Fellow, an Articles Editor for the Journal of International Law and Politics, and held membership chair positions with the Black Allied Law Student Association (BALSA), Law Women, International Law Society, and Law Democrats. She was also an intern with the Global Justice Clinic and the Government Anti-Corruption Clinic.

During her time at Cleary, Hannah’s pro bono work has included representing plaintiffs in a Section 2 Voting Rights lawsuit, working with grassroots organizations in Nigeria on the application of international human rights law to domestic statutes, advising on Section 1983 claims, and assisting the School Consent Project.
