Currently, Denisse is an Associate Sr. Compliance Officer Global Financial Crimes Compliance at J.P. Morgan. Additionally, she serves as an Adjunct Professor for New York School of Career & Applied Studies-Touro College (“NYSCAS”). She graduated Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in 2017. Her volunteer experience includes Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program, which places students from underrepresented backgrounds with judges and Long Island Hispanic Bar Legal Information Program, which provides relevant and accurate information throughout the Latino Community. Currently, she serves as the Corresponding Secretary for Network Work of Bar Leaders. She was awarded Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center's Outstanding Young Alumni Award in January 2020 and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association's Member of the Year for 2020-2021. During her time in law school, she served as Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Race, Gender, and Ethnicity. She participated in the 2015 Puerto Rican Bar Association Moot Court Competition, where the team placed. 1st Place-Northeast Region, Best Brief Award. She clerked Honorable Joseph Pastoressa and the Honorable Jeffrey Arlen Spinner. Additionally, she was a summer law clerk in the Litigation Department at Cullen and Dykman LLP. Publications included 23 NYCRR 500: The New Standard for Cybersecurity, Touro L. Rev. Blog (May 1, 2017) and Help Us Meet the Challenges–Don’t Lower the Standards, Suffolk Law., June 2015, at 8.
