Cristina Quiñones-Betancourt (she/her/ella)
Vice President of Law School Division

Cristina is a Supervising Attorney at Hudson Valley Justice Center (“HVJC”), where she supervises and collaborates with a team of advocates and attorneys representing tenants fighting housing discrimination, gentrification, and displacement in Westchester County.  Prior to joining HVJC, Cristina was a Supervising Attorney in Mobilization for Justice, Inc.’s Housing Rights Project, co-taught the Housing Rights Clinic at Brooklyn Law School, and clerked for the Honorable Katharine H. Parker in the Southern District of New York.  Cristina began her career as a litigation associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, where she maintained a varied practice that included complex commercial and securities litigation, internal investigations, and pro bono matters. 

Born in Puerto Rico, Cristina is passionate about supporting, motivating, and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds to attend and succeed in law school and beyond.  In addition to being on the Board of the Sonia & Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program, Cristina is a member of the LatinoJustice PRLDEF Líderes Young Professionals Board and a mentor for aspiring law students through the LatinoJustice Next Generation Líderes program.  Cristina is a 2014 graduate of Cornell Law School.
