Cheska Tolentino (she/they)

Cheska Tolentino assists clients nationwide navigating complex business litigation, with an emphasis on health and life sciences. Her experience includes drafting written discovery, discovery motions, motions to dismiss, and motions for summary judgment, as well as conducting depositions. Leveraging her background in insurance law, Cheska works closely with clients to develop efficient, effective strategies that are tailored to their litigation goals.
During law school, Cheska was a legal intern in the State of New Jersey Office of the Attorney General and the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory Commission, where she drafted legislative recommendations, regulations, and guidance documents to effectuate enforcement strategies. After graduation, Cheska served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Mary Gibbons Whipple, Appellate Division, New Jersey Superior Court, preparing pre-argument memoranda, reviewing trial records, and drafting both appellate opinions and emergent orders.
Cheska has devoted years of volunteer service to causes advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion, including The Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program. Outside of work, Cheska is passionate about health and wellness and is a competitive dragon boat athlete. Cheska is also an adventurous foodie along with her spouse and pitbull Ruby.
